Launching Ceremony: The ‘Business Confidence Survey 2017’

The ‘Business Confidence Survey 2017’ report of Nordic companies in Bangladesh was launched on July 3 in Dhaka. The Nordic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bangladesh (NCCI), supported by the three Nordic Embassies (Sweden, Norway and Denmark) and Sweden Bangladesh Business Council (SBBC) conducted this survey.

Honorable Commerce Minister, Mr. Tofail Ahmed, MP was present as the Chief Guest and acknowledged the Nordic countries for their continued support and called upon the Nordic companies to increase their investments in the country.

The Nordic Embassies look forward to stronger trade links between our countries, and encourage further steps to strengthen the business climate in Bangladesh. Nordic companies pave the way in Bangladesh showing strong commitment and motivation in corporate sustainability. Emphasis is made on promoting sound business practice, decent working condition, employment welfare and gender mainstreaming.
