Celebration of 40th anniversary of recognition of independent Bangladesh by the Scandinavian Countries

An open programme to commemorate 40 years of recognition of the independent Bangladesh by the Scandinavian countries. The event is jointly organized by the three Scandinavian Embassies (Denmark, Norway and Sweden). The event will be hosted on on February 04, 2012, 10:00 – 13:00 hrs at the Senate Hall of the University of Dhaka and will consist of three sessions.

Programme Agenda:

10:00AM An Inaugural session by Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
10:30AM Seminar 1: “Human Rights and Good Governance in Bangladesh: The next 10 years and the role of Scandinavian supports”
12:00PM Seminar 2: “Role of Business in Nation Building – Past and Future”
